+1 to this - Sound slike something my DS2 would say!
Oh, on that point. I let him use £4 of his pocket money today on a tub of CanyKing. I was buying a few other things including some whoopsie steak.
I hand over a few different coupons and a £20 note.
DS2 (8) states "How come you're using money? Don't you have a voucher!?" Thank heavens it was one of my friendly SAs! :rotfl:I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

Just want to say A BIG THANK YOU for posting the JC womble.
I now have 80 boxes in my garage, that's 1920 JC's. Thing is I don't really like them that much, but they'll keep family/office work colleagues going for months.
Even better those 80 boxes/fillers only cost me £3.62 in hard cash as wombles paid for nearly all.
I may even be tempted to get a few more tomorrow.

She has grab rails, a toilet seat, a new commode, and a Zimmer. A few years ago they put in a rail down the path as Mum and Dads has a steep drive. However when they came they persuaded Mum and Dad to put it in with a bend in it as that fitted in with the edge of the concrete. I tried to get it put in straight but Mum and Dad did not want a fuss made. However as Mum is weaker on her legs now I am going to contact them on Monday to get it straightened out. I will also ask about the table. Thanks for the tip. Mums social worker is away till end of the month but the OT at the local hospital who deals with Mum is due to visit when Mum is back so i will ask her.
Mum has a lifeline, an outside key box and all the above aids. And I have decided that any things that need doing in the house such as the shower and door being changed I will just do it. Enjoying the Americans on TV with a lovely bottle of San Pellegrino.
You have looked after her needs very well my dear- all of that taks some organising:Anever stop doing your best because someone doesn't give you credit0
