just got my first bs order. two make up brushes hand wash and cards to follow. second with gift sets showing as awaiting dispatch. dd will be pleased with make up brushes she is setting herself up to do wedding make up so collecting things for it.
also got £25.00 win on premium bonds.
quick question need some advice.
2 years sisters and i booked a trip to las vegas and then drive down the coast. because dad was ill we cancelled and younger sis got her money back but other sis (who paid for me) did not. we have to use or loose by 16.10.13. I have loads of airmiles and could use them for hotels and they say they wil give me spending money in exchange.
worried about leaving mum and dd ( although auntie says she will come to care for mum) although dd says i should go.
i have had a crappy year and a trip to la, las vegas san francisco and laguna beach does sound nice.
what do you think?
Go go go :T:T you deserve a holiday it will be fab & your mum & dd will be looked after x0 -
Gutted. I let a Beefeater free steak MOC expire.
Just realised and I'm meeting a friend there for lunch in less than an hour
I don't even have a £10 off £20 to fall back on.
Feeling your pain mate, I got a £30 voucher for one of my favourite Indian restaurants on groupon for £9 as i combined the deal with a free fiver they had sent me. Went to use it a couple of weeks ago and it had expired three days earlier. Gutted! I guess I'll cheer myself up with some Jaffa cakes.
Thanks op for jc!!I do try to keep up but sometimes life gets in the way.
I'm just a penny short of a pound. Peace and Love.
I've joined the 5:2 club cos mrT made me eat 1p chocolate.0 -

Thank you - will add the Thick Bacon to the M list (though it doesn't look like it's glitching as that is £2.55 straight vs M's 2 for £4.00). (When I get round to it.) Tate & Lyle Treacle Tart already on the list (thanks for confirming).
Now, Morries near-misses - comparison prices not quite making my grade:
Aunt Bessie's Toad in the Hole (as contained in the above shop) a near-miss from the M list this week. £1.50 each in M - but it's 300g whilst A's own Toad in the Hole is 330g and 'only' £1.00.
Also missed off Billington's Light Natural Muscovado Cane Sugar (500g) £1.38 vs M £1.18 (that offer has been ongoing in M for a few weeks and it's now expiring tomorrow) - but vs S on the non-light Demerara 1kg one works out far better. But this is branded sugar that's far dearer than the usual 5kg Silver Spoon/Tate & Lyles (when bought correctly) in any event. So that may be why I'd never added the Billingtons onto the M list.
Also avoided the Dr Oetker Marzipan and the own brand Marzipan as I've seen cheaper prices than 10% off M's current ones!
CBY Profiteroles (235g) (vs £1 M) also not included, as Sains on its much bigger pack is better when it's on half price (which is not at the moment, but meantime I'm not putting any of these smaller packs on vs M (or vs T) as they aren't good value in that light IMO).
You can make an informed decision and buy them vs M if you want, but I wouldn't!
A's SP Mayo is a near miss - it's 41p in M but 40p in T, so Avs T. (Sainsbobs' version is lower weight, so not as good as vs M let alone vs T.) Avs T on that!
I might however add the Ritz crackers (cheese and original) onto the M list even if not cheapest ever I've seen on one of those (beats my normal price comp. on those though). M 69p on each.0 -
Can we buy J20 in with JC's to compare with M Please? Going to give JC's a go later hopefully.

It's the first time I've ever done a shop v morribobs (sorry savvy), I got j20 and JC's too but results not in for another hour. I couldn't resist 1p JC's and got 10 packs so many, many thanks to the OP for that find.

And...ooh..postal delivery!! T are missing me! They're offering me £10 off a £30 shop for each of three weeks. I may well be very tempted by that. Such that I might take it up even if I don't get a profit out of T for it!:) Downside is it's only for my smaller Extra store (so I might find items are unavailable and will have to have lots of substitutes ready for my shops), although at least that store is a little nearer than the big one. Anyone thinking worth ignoring it totally and holding out for a better offer (such as £10 off a £20, or £15 off a £30) - I doubt they'll up it though. And any extra points will be credited on my next CC statement. Apparently, supposedly!:rotfl::rotfl::(;):D
Hmmm wondering how people get these high amounts for not too much spend vouchers. All I seem to get it £7 wys £70. Do they base it on average spend at T's?0 -
