Just a reminder for anyone with the £5 gift vouchers for Debenhams gained through travel insurance at TCB - they expire at the end of August. I've been and used my last 2 this morning.

I also tried again in Mr T's to get the electrical desk to enter the barcode for the CoD pre-order. They entered both codes but said the computer didn't recognise it. It looks like it will be a trip to the homeplus store this pm if the extra points are still working today.

My store never got the case in for the pre order COD. I just went to an ordinary manned till and got the SA to type in the 2 barcodes and it worked no problem.

2 years sisters and i booked a trip to las vegas and then drive down the coast. because dad was ill we cancelled and younger sis got her money back but other sis (who paid for me) did not. we have to use or loose by 16.10.13. I have loads of airmiles and could use them for hotels and they say they wil give me spending money in exchange.

Surprisingly (to me), I've managed to make a lot of progress on the M list - and I'll now leave you with it!!:):) Just a few random totally odd items still to add (though I bet you probably need them and it would have been better to have known earlier:() - best I can do, I'll add the odd ones on later at my leisure.

And...ooh..postal delivery!! T are missing me! They're offering me £10 off a £30 shop for each of three weeks. I may well be very tempted by that. Such that I might take it up even if I don't get a profit out of T for it!:) Downside is it's only for my smaller Extra store (so I might find items are unavailable and will have to have lots of substitutes ready for my shops), although at least that store is a little nearer than the big one. Anyone thinking worth ignoring it totally and holding out for a better offer (such as £10 off a £20, or £15 off a £30) - I doubt they'll up it though. And any extra points will be credited on my next CC statement. Apparently, supposedly!:rotfl::rotfl::(;):D
  • Afternoon all :hello:

Had a busy wee morning, took DD swimming and out to lunch. We then paid Mr A a visit for some of his Jaffas then came home and made cakes :D
Glad to be having a wee seat now though :rotfl:

Back from Wilkos, Tesco, Disney Store and McColl's:

Wilkos - picked up a bottle of Kitchen Plughole Unblocker with a MBG label on the neck. Have posted it off already :D £2.50, but will get that back as a cheque in four weeks.

Tesco - bought 12 copies of The Daily Express and got 12 free bottles of Encona sauce. Got lots of different ones. Did them all on self-service, SA didn't bat an eyelid at 'one per person' - said I'd bought the papers so what was the problem?

Also can confirm the Blossom Hill Sauvignon (with MOC) compares nicely against S. £1.75 PP and £1 coupon used makes it £4.24 a bottle. Got two with two MOCs.

Disney Store - picked up two free packs of Planes Top Trumps with the vouchers from The Express. These are valid until 23rd so will pop in each day over the next week and use them up.

McColl's - bought a copy of The Mirror and claimed my free Teasers bar. It takes me a week to read the weekend papers when I buy them anyway, so, although it was cheaper to buy the chocolate alone, I now have something to read at work this week.

Oh, and I picked up my missed parcel at The Post Office - it was my free Schweppes jug from the bottlenecks a week or two ago.

Soon to crack open the 50p Greene King at 2.30pm for the back-to-back free football. I've recorded the first match so there's not a 3 hour gap between the two games.

Anyone - is there any MBG Kitchen Plughole Unblocker avail. in A? I think some of it is on offer at the moment in M - msm.co.uk says 200ml A £3.48 vs W £2.50 (into September). M may be slightly cheaper - or may have a totally different size that doesn't compare:( - I'll check it next week! (If there's any worth in this.)
