Good morning everyone, here's to the weekend :)

    BS order update 6769

This had a despatch only showing 2 LYB cards and hand wash - not the 2 pamper packages - HOWEVER when I checked the UPS info it said it weighed 2.5 KGs too heavy for 2 cards and a handwash, so, I've kept my fingers crossed and just now my Pamper packs have arrived:T:T Cards are in a seperate delivery:D

So, it may help others to check the weight who haven't got their full order listed.

Thank you so much to the OP's :)

    :D:D:D:D:D

That's exactly the same as what my order says...not arrived yet but thank you so much for posting this I can't wait for my stuff now!

Mine dispatch note says the same too....
It's not trackable yet but has a UPS number. BS send small packages via RM in my experience so was hoping a package with UPS was a good sign ;) Hoping we're all as lucky as Lewisthewestie :)

Yes I was going to mention these, in case there was some sort of glitch on them or their price (I think they were going through at a penny each about a year ago - though I never managed to find any that did that).

Although a single roll at matching M's price of £1.24 doesn't seem that great to me. May be better if reaching a cond.spend or something similar.

I had a price porkie, 50 CC pts WYS £2 or more on that department and £3 off £30 (added clothing then immediately took it back for a refund - no messing with me!)

Scamps: I'm so sorry to hear about your dog :( I remember when mine died a few years ago, the house felt and still feels so empty without him.

Looks like I have about 60 pages to catch up on. Happy birthday/anniversaries to those I missed.

It's Emma's birthday today so this week as her present I took her to see the Tempest at the Globe and made her some cake. Then last night we had a very MSE night - free cinema tickets at Bluewater, free hamburger at Ed's diner, free Pinkberry and free Starbucks! :j We also popped over to the Tesco in Watford and were suitably impressed. Today we're going to something called ClueQuest. It's like Hint Hunt where you get locked in a room for an hour and have to raid it for clues to get out (a cross between Finders Keepers and the Crystal Maze), so much fun and an hour's not enough. I also got a nice tax refund in the post this week :)

Thanks for the heads up about CoD and I hope you all have lovely Fridays :waves:

I have 8, 6 and 4 yr olds and they each have good quality mattresses, bought in a sale from Very (a while ago..). I also bought them waterproof protectors, but the cheap ones are just that! I went for the terry towelling with waterproof backing and they are great. My dd spilt nail varnish on her bed and the protector stopped any of it going through to the mattress, and my ds2 still has the occasional accident and his bed is fine too.

Totally agree with the terry towelling waterproof sheets. They are brilliant. They wash fantastically and do the job perfectly.

    Morning everyone,

Have a question for you all. I've moved ds who's almost 3 in a few months to a single bed. We bought it off ebay and came with mattress, we need to replace mattress. So do we go buy an expensive one from johnlewis for about £250. Or a cheaper one? I'm confused.

I know they still can wet the bed, what does everyone do. Do you buy one to ast 8 years, or do u buy one for a few years and the upgrade to an expensive one? Lady in John Lewis also suggested mattress topper.. So it sure what to do. Advise please mummies and daddies.

Morning cici, defo go for a good quality waterproof sheet. Please don't buy the cheaper ones that feel like a bin liner. They are hideous- they rustle and must make kiddies sweat horribly on them. It's really worth getting a terry towelling one. I brought 2 from Sada a couple on months ago for £10.25 each .
Check out Argos for a mattress, they had some great deals a little while ago.

Hi peeps, been skimming for the the 5 days. We lost our baby dog, 12 years old on sunday. Hit my wife so hard as we couldn't have kids so this was her baby. Hit me too, just didn't realise how much she meant to me as well. Sorry, don't mean to be a downer. Speak soon. :)

    Morning all:A

I don't post very often now but couldn't read and run. So sorry for your loss. They really do become part of the family.xxx:A
