broody hens are a right pain we have silkies that just look at an egg and go broody but we do use them to hatch chicks have 8 on eggs or with chicks at the moment
when the laying hens go broody distraction is the best way take them away from the other hens throw them in the garden or in a seperate pen the old way was to use a wire crate hung from a tree so they would cool down and that was supposed to stop them being broody

Thanks Rhos :) yes Ive tried the cooling down thing, even filled the wheelbarrow with water and plunged her in it :o:o:o (I read about it somewhere?) Ive used her for hatching before but I don't want any chicks at the moment. I think I might go and fix the old coop up and put her in there before she causes any more chaos. Ive just evicted her from the coop.....again and she's running around the garden like a thing possessed! :rotfl:

Mullers came back "normal" (6x50p, 4x68p) from a shop earlier :(.

Although the additional discount is gratefully received, why do I never get the glitched price?

One to watch - smart price mousse (!) (pack of 4) is only 10p at the moment (so don't include in an M shop at 29p as you lose on the APG!). Good price though! SP beans were 34p on the SEL but 25p on the receipt - in a rush so they may have put them in the wrong place.
