Might it be the Tetley Tea Bags that's doing some of that?? (Roll around twice - I've got to get G Chrome soon.)
There were/are some Nestle Toffee Crisp Potz (the others are at full price) in M at 50p (they were there last week and possibly still on tomorrow). Unlike A or T, M's version are 220ml ones! So, if you happen to be popping into an M, I'd say perhaps have a look and get one!
Reminds me - just to tell you not to expect any Morries list to be brought over to this thread just yet. The last one is on the last thread - as my sig. incessantly and constantly goes on about - and as today was the last date, I'm going to leave it where it is* - plus all the single posts towards the end of the last thread that add to it, which may or may not have expired instore within 24 hours of posting them. I'll collect them onto my copy of the list that I keep offline - I'll look for Persil S&Mighty in M as one particular look-out next time - and I've noticed I have managed three posts in a row, starting at post 9, so expect about mid week or Thursday night (Fri. if I'm unlucky) for that to become a list.
HTH - in other words, don't stay glued to early posts expecting anything to happen to them in the next few days! (I may of course end up looking for and doing a diff. list comp than vs M ones - if so, I'll post with where that is and I'll amend my sig. as well, if that hopefully doesn't cause everything to blow up and disappear! Eek!)
*It's still up though, for reference.0 -
Hi all,
fairclaire, love the plane pics. They take me back to when I was a child, and we used to fly in an old Dakota to Biggin hill every year. My Dad was an aircraft engineer, so we went free. It was his job that took us to live in Antigua.
Been busy doing insurance comparisons for DS2 for the 'new' car. Ranged from £5000 to £1010. (insert horrified smiley) I phoned up and by adjusting some of the entries got it down to £738, fully comp, including all the extras, legal, personal injury, courtesy car etc. DS2 delighted as he'd resigned himself to £1000+. (I thought that was very good for a 19yr old with a 'boy racerish' car and only 2 yrs ncb)
To add to his happiness he's getting a refund off £440 by cancelling his old insurance, which we have to do as they won't insure him on a VW Polo gti. Just peeved that cos I had to phone I'm not getting cashback.
Now I've got to do the 4 hour return journey to take him to pick it up tomorrow.
His Ford fiesta is up for sale, anyone interested?
3dogs, glad to read you had good news.
YK ditto.
VT, thank you so much xx
Have told DS2 that I must go to Asda before we go to pick up the car. There are certain priorities that take precedence and must be adhered to. LOL
Smilies now not working for me. I'm on DH's lappy now, but the smilies worked on my galaxy tab and my desktop. Very strange goings on.

Savvybuyer wrote: »Thanks for the info. Hopefully I'll be able to find it, as they never seem to put 'rtc' labels on the shelves for the products in my stores. Then again they probably just remove all stock from the shelf and replace it (probably undoubtedly with a slightly smaller new weight version). !!!Had to remove your frown now, it wouldn't let me post with it (bit annoying).
Another little experiment from me - can I post two quotes in the same post now???
I had a bit of an accident (injured myself) - that resulted in far more severe consequences happening than I imagined. All sorts of temporary paralysis and a few breathing problems (the latter of which might have been caused by the medicine). Both have gone now though - and my new, unapproved, dose seems to be working (taking slightly less than the doctor prescribed, not a lightly done thing). Just need to go a little easy with myself, as I am doing.
Please do take it easy, I've had odd things happen to me which leave me very shaken and wiped out for days. Although the docs won't confirm it, I think it's an allergy to peanutsit's almost as though my throat closes up, for what seems like forever, but in reality it's for about 30 seconds to a minute. I can't get any breath in or out and it's really horrible

The ones in th greenhouse should all be beefsteaks, but because I was so late in getting them ready in the first place, they're late for ripening
Hopefully they will start by the end of the month!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards.
