Forgive me Father for I have SINNED!!!!!
Popped into Teasco to get some more Emmi for DH (he's hooked on them especially with a dollop of Kalhua) an they had a huge stack of doughnut 12 packs by the door eeduced from £1 to 15p. I resisted temtation going in and again on the way out - but my will power collapsed on the way back to the car and I went back in and bought a pack.
I had the sense to pop into my neighbours on the way home and offloaded 5 but DH & I have just had one each. B***** lovely they were too - but its knocked the bottom out of my Fast Day. DH is planning on another one later and I hope I can resist further tamtation.
Realistically, one doughnut won't ruin the diet provided I don't eat any more so why do I feel as guilty as sin ?ELITE 5:2

Evening all.:D
Just had a quick skim to catch up.
VT, thank you so much, you know why;):D.
Quiet day for me today, spent mostly lying down. I tripped over the hosepipe yesterday evening and went a over t. I landed on muy tailbone, wrenching my groin in the process and jarring my already wonky shoulder. Had a hot shower and took painkillers/anti inflammatories to little avail. I woke up every hour through the night, was up by 0400 wide awake and in more pain than I was last night. I'm only in less pain laying on my right side, and then only for an hour max, then it's up to hobble about.
An enforced nsd for me, and I'm peeved cos I have mocs burning a hole in my coupon wallet:rotfl:
DS1 and his GF are viewing flats to rent tonight, planning to move out soon. Their
budget for groceries is not realistic, so looks as if I'll be doing their shopping too. They have been studying my stash with interest, no doubt earmarking things to take with them.
Hope you are all well and happy. Noticed floflo is off on her hols. Have a lovely time, and that goes for anyone else going away too.
Rose, you look after your mum, so don't let your family dictate what is to happen. Will they help out once she's home? From what you've said the answer would be no, so you know what to tell them to do. You've got a lot on your plate, so don't let them interfere.
Fairclaire, love the tales about your DS. It must be hard at times coping with everything, but you seem to be a lovely mum.
Love reading Savvy's posts. It's nice to see him relax more in his posting style, and joking with the cheeky night crew.
Zippy, elsie and neosi thanks for the iss info. Still haven't seen it yet as lots of cloud, and on the clear nights I was either working or missed it:(
I enjoyed the baby stories, took me back to when my boys were little.
See you later
N x
Hope your pain get better soon.
Looks like your ds1 and gf will be in for a shock then. My ds1 spent around a year studying his sisters bills before making the plunge so I was lucky there. I know the feeling as you want them to be realistic but going back 30 years we had no car and live on beans on toast, adding up the penny jar to see if we could splash out on chips from chippie.
My kids understand the mse life and are grateful I coupon ect but still struggle to find the time to do it themselves so I am constantly stockpiling for them all.
Ds2 lives with his dad but I don't want him to feel left out so collect shower gel and body sprays for him and mr shoes stuff for his g/f.
I love doing this because I feel the time I put in is so useful to others as m
any glitches are no use to me.
I joined just at the start of the big glitch last year but first one I understood enough to do was the mr shoes body spray points glitch.
Today I collected from t's a rug I bought with my tcb points, something I would have struggled to afford before this way of life took hold and it looks even better because it was free:)
So set them up with the basics and then let them sort it out for themselves.
That way they will understand the work you put into your stashes and value them more.
Collected 10 vimto (thanks zippy) and got a £2 pp. Lovely when it works out to the letter.
