Anyone think this is a good deal?

My vodafone contract is 100mins/100text at £18 a month. Ive bin with them for 2.5 years.
Ive got a virgin for the wife (and O2 extra), but was gonna go for another Virgin (max 2 per household) as that is £10 for 300mins/300text.

But retentions offered me a deal, I can upgrade 18months contract at £10 a month for 15 months, £18 thereafter and they chuck in a free fone. I got the K800i. I wanted N95 but they said I had to contribute some money as its an expensive fone. Oh well.

Anyways I managed to get a memory stick free wit it. I went for 1gig but they didnt have any so they gave me 512meg free. I tried to get a case for it also but they said they ran out. Even bigger :(
Then I tried to get a bluetooth headset. They said I cant have it free, and the cheapest he would do it for was £8.50

Now Ive taken the upgrade but Ive got 14 days to decide.
Ive had a small play with k800i, its okay, just a bit better than my k700i. Camera is much better though.

Now Im weighing up whether to stick with this for 18months or go to Virgin for 200extra mins. I dont get a fone with Virgin though and of course I wouldnt mind a newer phone.

I think the Vodafone upgrade deal is a good one, but when compared to Virgin, its difficult. Vodafone said they cannot compete with Virgin, they are aware of that £10 tariff.

What u lot think. Is it worth sticking with Vodafone or go with minutes. To be honest, Ive got 700mins a month anyway (not including this 100mins from Vidafone) till December anyway. O2 contract (11month free, 12month contract) finishes in December, which I will be cancelling then.

It is a good deal in my opinion. I was looking at going to three - £15 a month with 250 mins and 50 texts and a K800i free.

I am in a similar situation with vodafone, my contract isn't quite at the point where I can ask for an upgrade etc.

I am on a 15 a month tariff - 100 mins and 50 texts. I am looking to get a K800i with vodafone in August. I'd be interested to know the name of your tariff - I think mine is currently online 100.

How long before your contract ended did you ring? Did you speak to the disconnections team? I'd also be intereseted to know what deal you quoted for them to offer you such a good deal.

If I were in your siruation, I'd probably take the offer.

Not sure wot my contract is called. I got it 2.5 yrs ago
100mins/100text with some extra's pack worth 6quid or something.

My contract is up 15th July and best speak to the disconnections people. Anyone else is no good.

I told them about my O2 offer I took up with carphonewarehouse. 11month free on 12month contract.
But I forgot to initially mention the virgin one.
I wanted to get a N95, didnt think about it the first time I spoke with disconnect people. Mind you, its an expensive fone when compared to k800i.

When u speak to disconnections people, try to get as much extras as you can. I got a free memory card and cheap bluetooth headset. I thought charger might be same as my k700i, alas it isnt. I need a car charger and thought my k700i would work. Oh well.

If u dont ask, u dont get. I think being cheeky is the name of the game.

Mine is a low tariff yet they still gave me a discount for 15months
