Car auctions are sold as seen and they're sold by dealers. You really think you can go back to the auction if it conks out on the way home? LOL no. If the breaks fail or the steering column falls out then maybe it's a different story.
No, at an auction they are sold by auctioneers. A dealer is someone who is supposed to know if a car is roadworthy and in a fit state to sell to a retail customer. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -
They're sold by auctioneers on behalf of dealers. Usually repo jobs from the likes of Blackhorse etc.No, at an auction they are sold by auctioneers. A dealer is someone who is supposed to know if a car is roadworthy and in a fit state to sell to a retail customer.
Either way, OP isn't getting any money back for a battery. Anyone who says he can is clueless.
