    So to reiterate, currently the way to reproduce error for me is:

    - Using enhanced post editor.
    - On a post with a smiley or image, click edit.
    - Then click "go advanced".

    Anyone get any different?

    There is obviously a more fundamental problem, but for most people it has been occurring when posting or quoting images/smilies using the enhanced post editor. For those, switching editor or posting using raw BBcode has mostly sorted it.

    Happening to some people under other circumstances as well, but the above seems (or seemed) to be the main culprit.

    It was for me at one stage. I couldn't post or pm at all if I added a smiley. If I took away the smiley it worked.
