    it is dated 08/08/13, but the alleged offence was on 18/06/13.

    Why do they need the envelope?

    2. With regards to your wifes speeding offence, 56 in a 40 it would have to go to court as the limit is 56, any lower then its a fixed penalty. If you look at the magistrates' court sentencing guidelines speeding at 56-65 in a 40 states a 'Band B' fine and 4 – 6 points OR Disqualify 7 – 28 days.
    A 'Band B' fine is at least 75% of your weekly wage rising up to 125% ( I guess 75% if you plead guilty)


    As for feeling sorry for your wife the guidelines state: -Factor indicating lower culpability,
