Hi ya i am currently with virgin media for broadband, tv and phone line. Now that am nearly at end of yearly contract thinking of going elsewhere. My son looked up talk talk, its seems much cheaper around 30 quid a month. I am currently paying around 60 quid each month, ive been with virgin for years and my boys have said espn no longer available as bt have it. Any talk talk customers got any views they could share with me, many thanks

I've been with TalkTalk with 3 years now (Plus package) and not had a single issue. I get line speeds 24/7, no throttling, download around 1TB a month and a static ip address
all for £5.75 pm + value line rental. Any queries have been efficiently resolved by their UK based online support forum. Just stay away from their phone support and you won't have any problems. TalkTalk wouldn't have ~ 4 million customers if their actual broadband was poor....as Orange found out a few years ago, customers will leave in droves if you sell them a shoddy service. 0 -
Since you are on VM cable, you'll need a new BT-based line provision before you can have a TT service (or any other ADSL based broadband service).
There are thousands of TT threads on this board. It's fine when it works, but when you have a problem then you find out why it's so cheap. No free lunch, and no free laptop

I'm also with Talk Talk and so far all good for me and great value compared to BT who I was with ,through an un reciprocated loyalty (they're good but at twice the price I pay now ).0
