Housewife, 49 was such a good programme. Thanks for the reminder I'll definitely watch it again.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0

Those of us who have read or would like to read "Nella Last's War", the film is based on the book and has great reviews.
Nella last was a housewife who kept a journal as part of the Mass Observation project which took place during World War 2. Ordinary people were asked to keep journals on all aspects of their everyday life.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book when I read it a few years ago, and will sit down with a cuppa to enjoy the film at 8.30.
GQIf you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

Housewife, 49 is really good, I enjoyed it just as much at the second watching last night as I did first time around.... don't throw the string away. You always need string!
