T mobile stole my money!

Hi all.
On 5th August, T mobile incorrectly billed me for an iPhone which should have been free (a 2nd line for my wife on my account) £256excl vat was taken and after pointing this out to the nice folks at T mobile they have told me it will take 14 days to return MY money. I've been given a snail mail address to complain but just wondered if anyone had any advice for me. Whilst its not crippled me financially, it is costing me in lost interest etc and COULD have caused me to go overdrawn with the charges that incurs. Needless to say I am fuming and want to get my complaint to the right person and some action to be taken. Any advice would be great.

Could have doesn't equal actual loss - and lets face it, the loss of interest would be less than the cost of a 1st class stamp. Incompetence is rife - as long as the rectify any error, that's all you are entitled to (unfortunately).0

loss of interest would surely have been penny's, but I would ask for some sort of goodwill gesture at least0

Threaten to return the phone and cancel the contract, as they charged you for something which they were not permitted to.
Push for some credit on your account if you wish to keep the phone at least a months line rental as it will come in handy when the mid term price rise kicks in next May0
