Royal Mail want proof of "purchase price" not Ebay sale price

I'm almost convinced it won't be covered, one of the definitions for no compensation is if item can be exchanged for cash...and I thought all silver in the Uk was bullion and therefore had a cash value as it is traded by weight.
What type of silver coin is it? Things like pre-1947 GB coins and pre-1968 Swiss francs are covered by signed for, in my experience
American eagles and Canadian maple leafs etc are not0 -
I have never provided a receipt or purchase price, I just leave it blank on the form.
recently sold a old item which was old but sealed and as new, it was given to me at work years ago so I never had a receipt, they refunded without any issue when it went missing.
What if you had a receipt for £100 but only sold for £10, which would they refund ?WWSD(what would Scooby Doo)0 -

have you every printed off a Proof of posting, it prints it full A4.Yeah it does seems odd. And many times staff have made annoyed comments when I've brought in bag full of items like "didn't you save your online receipt" or "didn't you print off" etc, when I've asked for proof of postage at the PO.
I just ordered free PoP pads from https://www.royalmail.com/discounts-payment/credit-account/online-mail-supplies/oms/catalogue/1863 once i signed in, then you just need it stamped at the PO0 -
Depends some silver bullion has a currency denominated amount on it this is legal tender. Some is just bullion with the weight on it.
Long term all that meters is getting the most grams of silver bullion for the lowest amount of currenyThe thing about chaos is, it's fair.0
