Can you upgrade in store if you previously upgraded online?

    I would assume it depends on which network/shop you're talking about but from my experience you can upgrade wherever. I've gone direct with Orange on the phone, in their shop, and with Phones 4U over the years. Always just upgrading.

    Usually yes. While its legally unclear if have rights under the DSR for an upgrade for a online / phone upgrades, most companies will offer some goodwill exchange if you get the phone and don't like it. You will have no legal rights of return if you change you mind for an in shop upgrade and be relying on shop goodwill policies.

    Caveat is that this does not apply to Phones4U who don't give you any exchange rights at all for an upgrade, or Three who will refuse an exchange if you even turn the phone on.
