Now your electricity usage makes more sense with your above posting. Make sure you are on BG's priority register. Also if you have any problems reading your meter quarterly and miss a meter reader you can call and get someone out. This way you will not get estimated bills.

What is the payment that is reimbursed? Is that per month? Is it to cover the cost of electricity or is it to hire the concentrator? 2,194 units cost £296 over the 92 days.

Edit: see post #25 - 2194 is hours, not kWhs.

My neighbour had one of these, the payment is to help with the added electricity cost and usually paid quarterly.

Okay, the daily usage "23.59" is 24 hours not electricity units (as is the "2194"). That corresponds correctly - you are being paid enough for 6.7 kWh per day which agrees with 24 hours of a 0.28 kW box.

That oxygen device only accounts for about 2,500kWh of electircity pa, based on those figures. That still leaves a over-usage of about 5,000kWh unaccounted for.

If the estimated readings were on the low side and on top of that there was the relatively high usage of the oxygen concentrator, the latest bill could have been catching up after an actual reading.

Needs someone to look in detail at the bills and establish the current usage really.
