That's what I am thinking. I do feel like I've been mislead.

I would say you have been, that's not what the prize said at all :(

Looking at this, they are saying that you have won a pair of shorts but the implication on the competition that you entered was for a £200 spend.

I would be happy to be a winner but very upset at the ambiguity or mis-representation of the prize on offer if there is any. Having said that, from what I see on the competition entry form , it is to win a £200 spend.

If the prize is a pair of shorts there is mis representation of the prize.

Send them a screenshot of the competition Question your prize and ask them to honour it. If they don't there is a complaints thingy for comps that I don't have but others MSE will help you with. xx good luck

Just done a bit of digging and I would definately complain, they don't even sell shorts for anywhere near £200

(sorry for the lack of a proper link)

That's how I feel - I am really pleased to win, but feel like a muppet thinking the prize would be £200 to spend. Whilst the £70 shorts are a very nice prize, it's not what I thought I won (or could win)!

Aww don't feel like a muppet it's their fault, if they were offering a pair of shorts they should have said it was just a pair of shorts.

The shorts I've won, are the ones I pinned on Pinterest - a very nice pair of £70 shorts (I also pinned some other items of theirs too).

FURTHER EDIT: One of the items they have to pin on there is a suit worth £380! I guess anyone that pinned that didn't stand a chance of winning then!!!

I would email and explain the comp advertised the prize as £200 and not a pair of shorts.
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Seems like a very dodgy comp :( looks like they might have changed their mind when they picked you as the winner and thought they might have been able to fob you off with the £70 shorts, whereas if the winner had been someone who pinned the suit they might have just offered the £200 to spend :(

"Be in with the chance of winning £200.00" this is how it is worded. Not re-pin to win that item up to the value.

It states win £200 to spend. I would query it - because I wouldn't be happy either! x

Agreed, now it would have been a different story if it had said

Be in with the chance of winning an item worth up to the value of £200
