Feeling like a fool. Confusion over prize...

On 2nd August I was delighted to learn that I was the winner of a Facebook comp (see image) -



If you were reading that post - (and the comp is also here: pinterest.com/brooktaverner/repin-to-win/) - what would you expect to win?

Because now that they have emailed me about my win, I haven't won what I thought was on offer... and I don't know if I've been stupid and misinterpreted the prize?

I would expect to win £200 to spend at Brook Taverner, but i'm guessing that's not what they're saying you've won?

Do you just win a chance to win £200?

A bit like if the prize was a chance to win £1million and the actual prize was a £1 lottery ticket?

I would say £200 but I could see you getting just the item you pinned.

Did you instead win the item that you had repinned?

That's the only other way I can interpret that. (and that's only because I'm looking for another way)

from the pinterest board, these are the only T&Cs I could find:

You got it. They've contacted me to say I've won the shorts.... which is fine, they're really nice shorts... but that was not clear at all on their Facebook page or the Pinterest page.

EDIT TO ADD: I told my son he'd have £200 to spend on there and he's excitedly, mentally compiled a shopping list.

I think they should have worded it win 1 item up to the cost of £200 then

Really not sure how they can get away with that, the comp couldn't have been clearer, how do you get the chance to spend the £200 if they just give you some shorts?

That's very misleading, I'd have read it as winning £200 to spend.

That's what I am thinking. I do feel like I've been mislead.

The exact wording on Pinterest is:
