reporting a mobile number

can some one help please I keep getting calls from a mobile number and all there is is a beep beep noise when I answer I am getting tons of these calls. I have tried calling the number back but all I get is either the Vodafone voice or a automated message saying please leave a message and press pound to save or press star to speak to an operator. if you press star it just gives you the beeping noise I get when they call me. can I report the number to Vodafone at all thanks

Give them the number - they may be able to track it down, but I wouldn't hold your breath - especially if it is an automated device (or fax) trying to connect.

I would but my phone is so old it does not have any capabilities to do so.

My guess is this is a number used to spam people with text messages or a scam number as when you ring it back it rings as normal then when the recorded message comes on it gives a short long ring like the foreign phone lines.
