Help! Have nearly 1cm thick limescale in toilet bowl. How do I get rid of it.

I wonder if the old coca cola would work in a kettle to descale that?
Or would it be too harsh?

brick acid from b&q
remove anything containing bleach from bathroom
flush loo
flush loo
using old paint brush apply to lime scale
leave for 5 mins lid down
flush loo
reapply
continue cycle until lime scale gone then flush again
gloves and goggles a must

Pumice stone isn't sufficient.

Use a brick bolster and club hammer - percussive maintenance is very satisfying.

When that fails to shift the stuff remove offending loo and replace - but I'm repeating myself.
