Cannot get Experian Statutory report due to incorrect address

I sent one before posting here - however I did the same last year and my address was never corrected anyway.0

Is your address the same on the PAF and the electoral roll, if they are then WRITE a good fashioned letter to Experian headed COMPLAINT as they are holding incorrect data.0

I STILL cannot get this resolved. Even after getting them to send me my report manually (to the correct address), the system shows the wrong post code for me so I cannot request a statutory report online.
Has anyone ever been successful? I can't even open bank accounts at some banks due to this error!
Hi, sorry to hear you are still having a problem with your address when applying for your report.
If you email your details to me I can take a look at this for you.

Thanks, Neil - I've sent an email.0

Just an update - my file has been all cleaned up and has no inaccuracies. Thanks to the Experian people for helping.
One thing to keep in mind if you are applying to get a statutory report. Experian checks in the Electoral Roll and if you aren't in it at your current address, it will grab the wrong info, but you can get one non-electronically.0 -
I have just had the same problem today - went to the bank to apply for a credit card to take advantage of a 0% transfer offer, but was declined because my credit score is too low. This came as a complete surprise, as I couldn't think of any reason there should be a problem. The bank rep looked into the Experian score, and apparently the address was incorrect - because the one that Experian uses doesn't exist, and tries to link my postcode to a street about a mile away in a different suburb of London.
Went home to try and look up my Experian report, and it won't let me register my correct address details, insisting that I accept the non-existent address. Tried to call their contact numbers, but some of them only operate 9-5 (which seems unacceptable in the 21st century) or simply play unhelpful recorded messages.
It seems very wrong that a company that I have never had any contact with can get me declined for credit because information that has been provided to them by God-knows-who is incorrect. And now I have to chase them to get it corrected. To say that I am furious with them is a massive understatement.
Does anyone have any advice?0 -

You don't have a credit score, lenders can't even see it.0 -

Well that was what the bank manager told me. When I questioned it, he said that it was because I was not listed on the electoral roll, and that my address didn't even show on the electoral roll. When I questioned that, he showed me the address that Experian has on file for me, which was incorrect and does not even exist (house name on wrong street, located about a mile from where I actually live).
The point remains valid, however. My credit application was declined because Experian have their facts wrong, and now I have to chase them to get it fixed so I can go back to the bank and try again.0
