Using Viber

I was sent a text and photo this morning via Viber. I could not open the photo and the message given was 'SD card unavailable'. I have subsequently attempted to send a photo and the message was saying I have low storage space.

Does this mean I have to get an SD card for my phone so that Viber functions fully? My phone is an HTC Desire X.

Any advice gratefully received.

Sounds like you are running out of internal memory
so may need to delete some apps

If you look in your setting under storage it will tell you how much internal memory you have left

A sd card may help for the viper because it sounds like it searched and did not find a sd memory card so yes you need one.

Thanks for your quick response. I have had a look at my phone and I think my photos are using a lot of the internal memory. Have ordered a 16gb card.

I'm with Tesco mobile and was charged the full normal call and text international rate for the 3 calls I made 'using' Viber to my friend in France. I'd say check your bill when you use it just in case.
I've since installed the Line app but haven't tried it yet. My french friend likes to talk too!

I use Viber regularly to text family in Ireland and have not incurred any charge. I haven't had to use it so far to make a call. As I understand things, so long as I have internet access, calls and texts are free. I am with 02.
