Ellie_B, welcome back! Now save hard and quick, it all helps - and keep it up next year. Congratulations on your marriage! :j

Not put aside any other bags I suppose, EchoDelta? Very well done! :D

Good to see you, rubytuesday, not long to go so keep packing in the £5ers.

Whatever you need your money for, charleybear, you've still done well in saving it so you have it for the more necessary. Although you may be almost penniless at the moment, you've done well with the bills so be proud. :T

Be happy with your OH, dinglefoot, he's seen how important saving is. ;)

Well done, Helen, you've still time to make it quite a bit more yet.....

    ......you too, Emily!

Great news about the checked up error, ChristmasCarol, well done. :D

So sorry to hear about the cold, Nell, shake it off ASAP and rest well til Monday. :smileyhea

Sparky, that is really brilliant!! Whoever did it made a fantastic job of it, amazing! I can't help but echo Modesty's words though, keep it safe.

It sounds as though you've got everything covered, little_sweetie, to very soon will have. It's a bit of a job to say the least.

Plug away, Ruth, you'll make it - you have to really don't you!

A £2 coin in the pot.

Have a lovely day and prepare for the cold, everyone.

    Sue x

Thanks - I'm hoping to just about make it! Hoping for NSDs for the next 3-4 days :) I bought some make up today and my OH was not happy with me...but it was a good deal and I took advantage of my student discount too! He's had a rubbish day at work so is just being miserable anyway :p I'll just be careful from now on this month.

    Potting 80p again today :)

I had an NSD today so no change from impulse purchases but I found a pretty bashed up 5p laying in the road and picked it up much to my boyfriends disgust.

And thanks for the support. It's really helped me to push on !

Also I used the 50% 30 % 20 % rule to help me budget my remaining money 50% is staying in the bank, 30% is Christmas presents and 20% on my self but doubt I will use that

  • Evening all,

I've just had a lovely evening working at the theatre coffee bar with nice smiley customers and a catchup (gossip!) with friends. This included a free coffee, a free glass of wine (too cold for an ice cream tonight) and a free ticket for the play tomorrow night :money:

Nothing to pot but no money spent either :D

Hi Sue-uu hope you are both well :hello:

    Night night everyone x

  • Added £9.38 in change to my pot last night.

I had an e-mail from quidco to say that are going to pay me £3.66

And i'm going to cancel my pension cause i see no point in having one when they are taking £1.50 a month from me for 'admin fees' so i should probably get about £25 back from that. It's a bit strange, technically i've paid about £45 in but it's only taken £25 off my normal wages.... I don't understand enough about pensions to keep it.
