things i hope two companies have learnt today
if you allocate a job to me on your system and not ask or tell me * then* ask today why i havent put a date in to visit, it means your job will be cancelled, even if its the day of the deadline.

is this the new allocation technique companies are taking, in the hope someone will actually forget they didnt ask for it, and just go and cover them ?

Ref charity shop and paying with exact money.

It's to see if the money goes in the till or their pocket, is this not explained in the brief?

Yes it is but it is hard find an item to give exact change without carrying every domination possible

That's why you go with a purse with lots of shrapnel in it.

I'm starting to think a lot if the jobs aren't worth the fee lol

I have to agree with you on that one.

Some of them expect 3 to 4 different scenario questions in 1 visit and it's not even a double figure fee.:eek::eek:

Yes, I see a few assignments now are sneaking in extra "to dos" with no increase or even a decrease in fee.

Really not looking forward to Reacts outdoor visit after seeing the comments on here about it! Staying in store for 30 mins is bad enough for that fee, if it's actually double that I'm thinking of "flaking" out of that one!

Anyone else sick of seeing betting on MF? Date has been extended several times now, when will they realise its not the date that's the issue its the crappy fee! Don't fancy taking a gamble on that one...

Had a call this evening from GfK about those bank jobs that simply won't shift. I said there was no way on earth I was going near them, for a series of reasons - not least that I was self employed and therefore couldn't take one, and had no intention of going through the pain of booking an appointment for the other. I was told the fee had been raised, and each of my concerns was shot down - so I accepted a couple.

On printing out the pack, and attempting to complete the onerous test, two things became clear: you cannot accept one of them if you are self-employed, and the other requires you to make an appointment. Have released the jobs after an hour of wasted time.

I presume the telephone allocators get a bonus for shifting these jobs? Do they lose it when they get swiftly dumped because they are taking the p*ss?
  • I did my first one this week for MF. It was okay but alot of work for payment but pleases that I have had a go.
