On a more positive front ESA have finally dropped some calls into my box to do for the Telco's following my response to the survey. Mine are all calls - I am wondering if anybody got visits to do or is the first wave calls only?[/QUOTE]
I've had calls into my inbox, too, one of which is an 0870 number. As I'm not sure how long the call's going to last, I'm going to refuse to do this one, I think.0 -
Sorry, should have said 'Hello', shouldn't I? I've been following this thread for ages to gleen (glean?) what info I can but haven't posted before today. I subscribe to the 'alerts' thread, too and immediately log on after getting a notification, full of anticipation. Trouble is, I think, the likes of MF allocate their jobs in different regions at different times/dates so am regularly disappointed to see nothing for me - I'm in the Midlands. Anyway, just want to say thank you to everyone for giving your time to those of us that need a little help.0

Never though about that cheers
I due one so may as well use one NHS then do the private thing thing .0 -
I had mine allocated last week and have completed them other than the odd follow up to wait for. Mine were webchats and similar online based contact. Don't know if I was just having a bad day but I found the instructions/scenarios to be quite convoluted until I had done a couple and got used to them. That is often the case though I suppose.
I have the same scenario for all calls so hopefully I will have got to grips after first couple. One of the challenges is usually trying to get through to a person. Had a mare on a GFK call to a Telco yesterday and had to go down the complaints route to speak to someone as the IVR seem keen to direct me to various websites to answer my query rather than a person.0 -
Just printing things off for tomorrow, and realised I have to be suffering from incontinence. Oh my god. That's a first. Not sure even my mother will want the recommended product for this one
I take it back, it's for someone else. Phew!!!

Yep I had a good laugh when I read that brief!Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?0 -

Easy jobs to complete but I really don't need more painkillers...
On eye tests, they are free in Scotland but the hunt you down if you try and have too many, for companies other than Tern you should have a reimbursement available to pay for the test fee, book a private test and pay for it claiming the fee back, you can do this till you are cross-eyed if you want :-) That should be the process in England too.
React cancel the test claim before it goes to the NHS so you can do as many as you can get.0 -

The rules are generally one free test per two years if you are an adult below 60. The database seems to be a bit creaky though and they might not initially spot that you aren't entitled to one.0 -
I'm also aware of certain optical firms computer systems defaulting to NzhS Claim forms even when a private test is booked. I just ensure I sign for nothing.0

I completed these phone calls last week and found that on most there was a recorded message with an alternative 03XX you could redial before you got into the menu options.0
