We can consider it done if you like, but you haven't read it.Consider it done...
Yes, as stated in the article, 120 days from problem arising, 540 days from purchase. For me, it raises the questions 1) what are the time frames involved,
Yes. Again, it is explained in the article.2) is there a difference between the item being faulty on delivery or it developing a fault.0 -
Consider it done, but I would like to know other people's opinion.

Any thoughts or experiences are much appreciated
Thanks
You'd like peoples opinions? Google opinions & a55holes. You need facts not opinions.0 -

I have and more than once, cheeky.Yes, as stated in the article, 120 days from problem arising, 540 days from purchase.
Yes. Again, it is explained in the article.
With all respect, it is rather ambiguous.
It says that it applies to "when goods don’t arrive or are faulty, rather than future issues". This does not quite back up the 120 and 540 day statements.0 -

Unlike Section 75, the Chargeback scheme is not wrapped in a shiny legal coating and is thus open to different interpretations. If you beg to differ, please expand.
Edit: And what I really need is a refund/replacement ;-)0 -
Amazon has just confirmed, once again, that there's nothing they can do about the faulty product as I did not inform the seller within 14 days. Seems like the A-Z claim is not really all that what it seemed at first sight.
On a more positive note, Amazon has given me the address of the seller so I can take it up with them directly. Might start with a CC Chargeback, next OFT and small claims court if that fails.0 -

So lets make it clear then.
Timescales.
120 days, from date of debit.
540 down not come into play here. Very rare that 540 days is used for anything.
It has to be faulty when received. It does not cover devolping faults.
You will need to return the router to the seller at your cost (not claimable back via chargeback) Via a method that proves they have received.
Another issue in place here is you have not payed the seller. You have paid Amazon.
Therefor the chargeback is against Amazon. Who have only moved the money on your behalf and not supplied the goods. So Amazon could well reject the chargeback on this basis.
Are you sure this is a router fault and not a line related fault. The faults are intermittent system resets/restarts a few times a day, connectivity issues with wifi enabled SMART equipment, internet connection dropping ~10 a day, and a few more issues.Never ASSUME anything its makes a>>> A55 of U & ME <<<0 -

.
You need to do this, OR provide written proof that you have given the supplier the opportunity to collect0
