Knowledgable plumbing types - How possible is this?

Be gentle, I know nothing about plumbing
I am trying to plan a kitchen layout and it seems it would work a lot better if I could move my washing machine. Trouble is, the wall where all the appliances requiring water are currently connected is separated from the place I want to put the washer by several meters and an arch in the wall.
Is it possible to move it? If so, how would it be done and ballpark costing please?

Do you mean to say that the water supply and drainage would need to run under the archway? If my post hasn't helped you, then don't click the 'Thanks' button!

Much easier with an image!

As they say, a picture speaks a thousand words!
So just to be clear, are you redesigning your whole kitchen?
Do you know where the water supply comes from into the kitchen and where the main drain pipe from the kitchen is?If my post hasn't helped you, then don't click the 'Thanks' button!

as above plus is that nib deep enough ? or the machine is gonna stick out like a sore thumbI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
Yes, redesigning whole kitchen. The area in the left of the picture is usually a dining area in these kind of houses, but the previous owners built a conservatory to dine in then extended the kitchen into that space. It feels added-on, if you know what I mean. But it would make a great utility area.
All the piping for the water is currently under the sink, which is just to the right of the washer in this pic. I'm pretty sure it's entering and leaving the house from there.
Thanks for taking the time to look at this

The current set up has the worktop overhanging the arch by a couple of cm, and it doesn't feel or look wrong. The depth of the counters is the same as the other side of kitchen, so in theory a washing machine would fit in that space.0 -
Did the photo help anyone to answer my initial question?0

Is the wall behind the proposed new location an External Wall and is there an outside drain near it. Really the biggest issue is the drain from the washer rather than the water supply which can always be got there via all sorts of routes. Drain on the other hand, not as many options..0

Which should be a foul water drain and not a surface water drain of course - unless OP has a combined drainage system.warmhands.coldheart wrote: »Is the wall behind the proposed new location an External Wall and is there an outside drain near it.
CheersThe difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has it's limits. - Einstein0 -

Yes, it is an external wall.
There is a drainpipe outside, about where the curtain is the in photo, I assume that water could leave via that route?
So, that's a yes? Any idea how much this sort of work costs? Just looking for ballpark before I waste a plumbers time, £100, £500, £1000?0
