Seller asking for return of misdescribed item after case is closed

99p or £99.00 items should be as described. Simples. The OP runs the risk of returning her item, getting her original purchase and p&p back but not her own expense of return postage, so is out of pocket. As I have been in the past after promises to cover. Ebay do nothing.
If I had been the seller I would have just refunded. End of.
And yes I have argued over a 99p plus postage not as described. And the seller...refunded without asking for return. Simples.:heart2:Baby boy madbird arrived 15/06/11 by emergency csection weighing 9lb 13oz:eek: love him so much xx:heart2:0 -
If eBay refunded from their own pocket with a curtsey refund then the dress doesn't need to be returned to the seller. In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0

I ain't defending the seller, I've had a few run-ins with some myself but frankly over 99p I think you're over reacting tbh.
A while back I was mis sold something for over £100. Seller was pulling a con and I ended up sending the item back. I should have left him a neg but he refunded instantly so I simply didn't bother leaving feedback at all.
I do leave negative feedback but not for trivial things. I bought a shed on ebay brand new from some large garden buildings company and it turned up knackered, flimsy, clearly weaker than a cardboard box etc. I had a massive spat with them as it was nothing like the pictures and yes I neg'd them - for £250 or whatever it was, they deserved it.
For 99p I wouldn't bother to be honest.0 -
I would have refunded for 99p.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

Doesn't matter if it was 99p or £50, the fact is you buy something and it arrives with marks on. You pay 99p plus the postage, some buyers ,ay have money to throw away but I don't!
You expect a good honest description, yes mistakes are made but the seller did not resolve the matter and quite frankly has a cheek emailing you after to remove feedback.:heart2:Mummy to a beautiful little girl:heart2:
