Morrisons have a decent selection of varieties, but the best way is to buy some heritage seeds and raise your own plants. Most of these varieties are not sold in supermarkets. GYO for the best taste and try to ripen them on the vine.

Organic cherry tomatoes in season or growing own and using organic tomato fertiliser. Not keeping in the fridge does improve them as does storing in paper/cardboard not plastic.
On the other hand we purposely keep organic cherries in our verry cold fridge because on a hot day an ice cold organic cherry eaten like a sweet is mmmmm...0 -
I've just opened a tin (with a very tight-fitting lid) that I took to an open air concert on the 19th July & inside were eight cherry tomatoes - no mould; no blemishes; still firm, almost a month later!
I know, says a lot for my housekeeping:o

The ones my in-laws get from Tesco are usually lovely. Just basic ones in a 6 pack.“I want to be a glow worm, A glow worm's never glum'Coz how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?" ~ Dr A. Get them from your local turkish/greek/iranian supermarket - anywhere where they have them in big piles outside the shop. They are 59p per kilo or £1.99 for 5 kilos at our one at the moment, and the taste is fantastic, sweet and properly tomato-y0

The secret is this: most restaurants get their tomatoes in bulk from fruit & veg dealers and not from supermarkets. try buying your tomatoes from a market stall or greengrocers instead and you might get a tastier tomato! [my husband is an Indian restaurant manager]0

Grow you own, then it's very MSE and uber tasty! :-) Nothing beats eating a ripe homegrown tom straight of the vine. Suncherry F1 tomatoes are so sweet, try em next spring/summer.0
