If you purchase you seat at the time of booking do you get a quicker Baggage Drop at Gatwick to avoid the long queues after checking on line. easyjet seem to have stoppe cthe express baggage drop and we heard paying for your seat in advance gives you a right to a quicker check in. Can anyone confirm or advise please.

They now have 8 desks to choose from,
1,Is for those with slightly larger but still within the free allowed cabin luggage that can be put in the hold free
2,Is for those checking in at the airport.
3,Is for those with Pre-booked luggage.
4,Is for those paying for luggage at the airport.
5,Is for those with too large hand luggage
6,Is for speedy boarders with any of the above.
7,Is for speedy boarders with none of the above
8,Is for people that have pre-booked their "special VIP seats"

So does that mean if you pre book your seats there is no advantage with a speedier baggage drop when you have checked in on line. I suppose you still have to join the long queues that it always apparant especially the North Terminal at Gatwick airport.

Paying for the cheap seats doesn't, only the pricier 'up-front' or 'extra legroom' seats get a speedy bag drop, everyone else just uses the standard ones.
