Yip, this is also me!
My house is on the corner so traffic is always slowing down to take the corner and EVERY time a delivery-type van slows down I'm peering out the window, willing them to to stop at me, but inevitably they are just going round the corner. boo

My neighbour upstairs has had some parcels delivered recently and he's always slow to come down & answer the door so the deliveryman has come to mine to ask if I can take in the parcel...I think I should tell him to get lost! he never brings me anything nice so why should I do him a favour :mad:

My local van drivers all know me and often if I am out and about and they drive past they toot and wave lol!

I can't see the window from my office area, so I've started to recognise the engine sounds of the delivery vans.

So if I hear one pulling up in our close, I'm up and moving into a position to see if it's stopped outside my house or across the road.

This morning I had a delivery at 7.10 am. Sadly it was not a comping win but something I'd ordered...

Today I was leaving home and a delivery van drove past me....being very sad I pulled over and watched to see if he went to my address....he did! Lol..I also find that when I am off work I try to stay in until the postie has been which now gets later and later grrrrrr! The sad life of a comper! Lol
