I got two of my three from an independant cat rescue with slightly more flexible rules than the national organisations, I wanted house cats only (two previous cats killed on our very busy main roads) and the big rescues all turned me down. The independent rescue had as it's top criteria "loving home" and I could certainly offer that. Plus they were completely full and people were still leaving cats and kittens on their doorstep that they didn't have room for, the recent recession means that more people can't afford to feed their pets, or get them neutered apparently. This particular rescue either neutered the cat before it left or, if it was too young, gave you a voucher to get it done free with them later.

Your little smiley face at the end just rubs in just how really, really. funny you must find it that so many kittens and cats die unwanted each year, or why on earth is that smiley face there?

Any amount of name calling you wish to direct at us 'cat patrol' type will never hurt us a fraction of how much it hurts to watch unwanted kittens die.

I'm not expecting either of us to change our minds. You will always believe that you have the right to increase the cat population so that more cats die, and will always believe that you should not have that right.

Ha....the joy of kittens....little barricade-bashers. If I could be paid the same to just look after kittens or puppies I think my life would be pretty much complete.

You shouldn't jump to assumptions. Prey tell, where have I stated that 'I have a right to increase the cat population so that more cats die?' because if I read and re-read my posts, I cannot in any way,shape,or form see where I have stated or insinuated that?

I love my cats wholeheartedly....if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all.either that or get a life.

You could also try chicken or some other soft meat for the kittens if they won't eat dry or wet food.

Could be cooked or raw- if cooked, no bones.

Thanks for your replies! The day after posting this, the two babies started eating and they now wolf down their meat and biscuits!

I WILL put some pics up...been a bit busy with kids off school etc, leave it with me!
