I met up with lovely Donny and her husband in her absolutely fabulous caravan on Saturday. Oh what have you started - I have now sent off for brochures - a girl can dream.
A bit upset about another thread - I think I am too sensitiveButterfly_Brain wrote: »Bright and sunny here
MIA yesterday I had a hospital appointment with the hand orthopaedic surgeon and he said that the MRI shows that I have osteoarthritis in the spine and he is not sure if the tingling and loss of use of my hands and numbness in my leg is down to that, the carpal/cubital tunnel that I have or neuropathy from the diabetes. So he wants me to have physiotherapy and to see a spine doctor which I have to wait for because the request has to go back to my GP who then has to refer me, what a stupid way to run things  He said if he operates before getting the full picture, that I might not get any relief, so once again it is a waiting gameI have to go back to see him in three months. He has told me to tell my knee orthopaedic surgeon about it who I see on Thursday and see what he has to say.
Hester good idea spending time with your Kindle - give your poor beleaguered body chance to heal.:o
Lushlifesaver I love the sound of the Infinity dress - is it easy to put on? That's an important consideration for anything I get now.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
LameWolf yup, you either step in to it and pull it up or put it on over your head and then just tie the straps however you fancy them
Sorry I can't remember the username of the lovely poster who said about wearing a tube top underneath but glad you reminded me - out of the three patterns I found one actually has one built in so think I will go for that one now!************************************

Sat chilling in a field near Lacock, the village where Cranford and other period series have been filmed, and the Abbey used I the HP films.
Just 4 caravans, a converted Horsebox now a Motorhome, and a couple of girls in a tent over the other side, chilling out after their A Levels, or worrying about the results out soon! One of the other caravans is our friends from home, who are returning back, when we go on to near Taunton, and then Cornwall.
So pleased your enjoyed your visit Molly, it was lovely to meet your and your lovely DH, had to smile at your kids worrying about you meeting up with someone off the web!. I have been called scary in the past! Sorry to have started something, enjoy looking at the brochures and if you need any info, then just shout.;) LW we know you, and understand, but would have come to you had you felt up to it.
Stick with us, some don't like our thread much anymore, claiming we are not OS enough, but being friendly, and there for each other is definitely OS in my books. Tonight we have had a cold meat salad for dinner, as we had it in the fridge and it needed using before it turn up its toes.
H-H slowly does it, don't try rushing it, and don't worry about being fit and able to charge about like a loony at work, go when you are able to cope and not before.
B-Brain ((Hugs)) You certainly are in the wars luv, in this day and age of technology it seems daft that all records cannot be together without going backwards and forward to your GP.
Tomorrow we will go to Wootton Bassett, to get our gas bottle topped up, and have a little look around, and will then call in Devizes before returning back, and we move on to ear Taunton on Thursday.
Take care everyone, (((hugs)))' spoons, and positive vibes all round. DGMember #8 of the SKI-ers Club
Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0 -
Yep - Im here to stay with my OS friends xxxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0
