    Have a lovely day everyone.:)
  • Bright and sunny here :D
MIA yesterday I had a hospital appointment with the hand orthopaedic surgeon and he said that the MRI shows that I have osteoarthritis in the spine and he is not sure if the tingling and loss of use of my hands and numbness in my leg is down to that, the carpal/cubital tunnel that I have or neuropathy from the diabetes. So he wants me to have physiotherapy and to see a spine doctor which I have to wait for because the request has to go back to my GP who then has to refer me, what a stupid way to run things  He said if he operates before getting the full picture, that I might not get any relief, so once again it is a waiting game :( I have to go back to see him in three months. He has told me to tell my knee orthopaedic surgeon about it who I see on Thursday and see what he has to say.

TTFTM positive vibes are winging their way to you

(((((((Hugs)))))) to Bethebee, Hester, Hilly, Molly, LW and Penpin (has anyone heard how she is?) and all others who are poorly or just need a hug.

Off to town in a little while, DH got my scooter out before he went to work. So I had better wash up the breakfast things

    Morning all:j:j

Sunny here this morning but there has been a chill in the air.

    Tax credits up date:mad::mad:
My wife phoned them up yesterday, To fine out about this years award from them.
The Guy said that they have all the info there but its not gone though! So he will need to resubmit it. And could take another six weeks~!:mad:
My wife asked if the next payment that we are due on the 21st of this month will still be paid, The guy said yes. It will be paid as normal. I don't have much faith In this! I don't think it will be paid as the computer will think our claim has only Just submitted , i hope I'm wrong and the payment os paid as normal.
I also hope that all the back pay we are due from last year gets paid. As we have been under paid for 12 months from what we can work out.

We were under paid In 2009, And ended up being paid £3000 In back pay. From what it looks like to us we have been under paid by the same amount again or a bit more. Better not lose it.:(:(

My wife asked the guy way it had not gone though, He said that he did not know.

Not going to leave it like this. I wont more info.

    Very unhappy Mr Halight
:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j

He plays wheelchair rugby - this is the last tournament of the international season though so we will have a quiet month in September ready for the start of the domestic season in October :)

And infinity dress is basically a circle skirt and two really long straps and a waist band all sewn together (sometimes called a single seam dress as once you perfect it you can sew through all the layers at once). Once it's finished there's an insane number of ways to wear it :) strapless, one shoulder, twists all over the place, all different necklines etc.

They range in price from the same as an average dress to insane amounts and have been really popular for weddings as bridesmaids can all technically wear the same dress but each wear it in a different style.

I've wanted one for ages but wanted to make it and I'm struggling to find anything I like in the shops so bf's mum is going to help me make myself one :)

    Morning all,
sneaking in late as I had to take painkillers in the night and have only just surfaced from a very pleasant sleep.... we had the duvet back on the bed instead of the thin quilt and it was so snuggly too. Coming round to the idea that good sleep means I feel better in the mornings and prescribed painkillers were prescribed for a reason. Yes, I am thick.

Off to get my blood pressure etc taken this morning before the big hospital appointment tomorrow, when I start the process of changing the main medication. It will mean injecting but DH says he'll harpoon me if my hands are bad. He looked quite eager to stick needles in me

Just lost half the post, but I was just waffling, so have as great a day as you can x

Edit: LLS, DD had an infinity dress as a bridesmaid's outfit for her friend's wedding. It was from BHS. If you wear a boobtube with it there are even more ways to wear it.
I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.
  • Good morning all,
Sunshine here. We had spells yesterday where it just all of a sudden rained really hard. It was very dull most of the day.
Everywhere is tidy. Baking tins are almost empty. I will make something when the oven goes on tonight.
Lasagne for tea with the leftover rhubarb and raspberry crumble i made yesterday. I had a good look in the chest freezer yesterday and found at the bottom a carrier bag full of 1lb bags of rhubarb. Forgot that they were in there. The raspberries were picked yesterday from our allotment. A few more crumbles could me on the menu i think.
I hope everyone has a good day and hugs to those who need them.

  • Hi all
First full day of my time off from work today! Took BF to work and popped into asda on the way home for some veg - I defrosted some diced lamb yesterday and I now have a lamb casserole in my slow cooker :-) I'm sick of salads and pasta etc, I crave things like casseroles and roasts as I'm totally an autumn/winter girl. I really dislike summer!!
I have a few jobs to do in the house today, as its BF's last day at work until he is off with me, so I want to get those jobs done while I have the house to myself.
Considering going for a drive over to Tynemouth later on. I love it there and I love that it's so close to home! Razzberry Bazaar is one of my favourite shops, I just can't be tempted to spend money!!
Hope you all have a good day!
the only debt left now is on credit cards! The evil loan has gone!! :j:j

Hi everyone :j Sorry been MIA for a bit, not too well but on the mend now. :D

    !

I defrosted some stewing beef yesterday for exactly the same reason! I call my stew 'Ring the Bell Stew' because if you actually find a piece of meat you should ring a bell :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I got up very early this morning but once I'd seen hubby off to work, I went back to bed and slept for another 3 hours so I feel very refreshed now and ready to go which is just as well as the house is absolutely minging! I will be delegating jobs in a mo to the girls...that will cheer them up :D

My youngest DD is doing the library reading challenge so we will be off to town once the housework is done. She is a voracious reader, exactly the same as myself as a child. I don't really have the concentration to read in the same way now but my OH bought me a Kindle a couple of years ago and I like holding that.

Anyway, it sounds like WW3 is breaking out so I'd better go. Take care and gentle hugs to anyone who would like one.
    Cheers m'dears x

I don't think so Molly - I tend to read that one rather than post much. My honest comments about a regular's snipe at my home town were rigorously ignored & the poster's comments were defended as being positive... I think they are a little cliquey.
