I just want the figure, pure curiosity on what the ex now earns after years of scraping by on peanuts whilst he was climbing the career ladder.
No direct number, apparently when i call, if my complaints case worker is available my call will go directly to him, if he is busy it goes to someone in a call centre who then says ''I don't see anything about that case'' i then have to repeat everything, they then put me through to my case worker.
No not Bolton. I have been passed around, belfast, falkirk, bolton however. But its now being delay with just not in bolton.
Don't repeat everything. Once they've finished security simply say "oh hello, I wonder if you can help? My case is being dealt with by a gentleman called So and So... would it be possible to speak to him please?". They can call the office that he works from and get a message to him to call you back.Grateful to finally be debt free!0 -

When my case went to Complaints I did find them very good. It might be that the whole thing is more complicated than it first seems and therefore will take a bit longer. My case, for instance, needed half a dozen historical assessments.
I wonder if you have the same caseworker as I did. He was very good.
Not complicated at all. CSA messed up and as soon as the finally requested info from the NRP he sent it straight in, as he was expecting the call, so had it all prepared ready. NRP has been compliant. So i don't understand whats taking so long.
There no complicated history to sort out, as it is a new claim, as we had a private agreement previously but he decided to stop paying. So i contacted the CSA, thinking it would get sorted pretty quick, especially after the guy who took all the details said ''since you have provided us with a phone number, someone will call him today''
My ex thinks he's gonna pay less than the £150 he was paying. I know he'll be paying more. £150 was based on his income 8 years ago, he has gone from minimum wage to a high end job, and has never been increased by either of us. It didn't need to be really, it was sufficient for my sons needs.
However though the CSA have enabled him to have a payment free break of several months. So i suppose he has got away with it.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T

It sounds like you just want an accurate figure: no more, no less. It will happen. I can appreciate the frustration with waiting. It sounds like you'll be vindicated in the end.Grateful to finally be debt free!0 -

It may happen, but you need to keep on top of them...!!!
Whenever you ring them, keep notes, and clarify everything in writing sent recorded, i know you of heard it all before, but it really is sooo important...!!!
Good luck with the game... And stay on top of it...0 -

Yes i just want it sorted. I would be happy with the figure it was, but obviously i have 8 months of non payment to cover. So any increase with no see the benefit for a long while. It may happen, but you need to keep on top of them...!!!

I didn't do any of this, I was so naive, thinking constant calls were enough.
Ive just emailed my MP, to see if they can speed it up at all.
I refuse to give up out of sheer principle now.
Do you know how the consolidary payment for financial loss works Kevin, as i have been told i cant claim it until 26 weeks of payments from the NRP has been received.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T

I don't understand why everyone is getting their knickers in a twist.
Pretty much everything he/she has said isn't news really for anyone that has had long term dealings with the CSA. I think some people think their case is the only/most important case. Whilst OUR case is obviously mega important to us, to the workers at the CSA we are just another number. That's just how it is.
I have worked in similar high workload offices and agree with CSAworker...if you have 10 minutes left of your day you will work on the file where the person treats you with politeness rather than the one who shouts at you. That's human nature.
The CSA is a government machine. Does anyone know of any government machine that works efficiently ???
It took a long while, but someone finally gets it. I can well understand peoples cases are the most important things to them, and id be lieing if i said that i dont treat cases like numbers, And thus i can appreciate why certain people posting here get so angry they just want someone to blame. I get all that.0 -
I do hope people also know that if you are rude to waiters/waitresses they spit in your drink.;)Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
