As for getting verified, i was thinking about it, but considering this board generally hates the csa and there employees, my advice isnt listend to or understood anyways, so no real point in it.

Really...??? I thought the ones that are known here are very well respected...!!! :p

Your all more than welcome to send my posts to your mp, Your wasteing the ink in your pens mind you, ive been careful not to breach data protection. People seem to think were under some form of gag order? Aslong as im not mentioning names/dobs/ninos and the like, i can pretty much say anything i please.

oh, and the fact i registerd under a fake email and called myself caseworkerx narrows down your seach by about 25,000 people. Still, if it makes you happy go for it :) anyways.

about the people asking about the 5%-9% re-assessments, Firstly, if your a pwc and you want a re-assessment, how are you going to prove he has had a payrise of 5%, has his lifestyle changed? Very doubtful unless he was wealthy and 5% equated to 1000's

if your an NRP, are you going to tell me your wages have incresed by 7%? no your not, be realistic.

the main re-assessments that are carried out are those where the income drops drastically, or increses dramatically, Mainly due to there never being claims for re-assessment for <10%, unless like i said, if your on a massive wage and 5% is the diffrence between 100's of pounds, then they will get re-aseesed, but for the local asda worker, he doesnt tell us, the pwc doesnt know, therefore it doesnt get re-assessed.

I wouldn't be too sure of that if I were you...

An email address is just that, an address. There is no such thing as a fake email address, it simply exists. It doesn't have to bear the owner's name, and could be called Aroundtheworldineightydays@ .... for instance.
But ........... CSAcaseworkerx has their own interpretation of things, as can be seen from their posts.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

hmmmm What's a fake email address?

There really isn't such a thing on here.
My Dads email address isn't his name. It was already being used. I have 2 email addresses, one for companies ( ie gas, phone) and one for my friends to use. It doesn't mean that either of them are fake. They are both mine.

    eta posts crossed. x

what i call a fake email is an email where i didnt use any of my personal information to set up, therefore it cannot relate to me, it relates to "john smith"

Your not very bright are you.
  • Dear CSAworkerx
You may wish to re-familiarise yourself with the following:
    http://www.civilservice.gov.uk/about/resources/participation-online

    http://resources.civilservice.gov.uk/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/civil-service-code-2010.

You say that you do not have to uphold the same standards of behaviour online as you do in the office (paraphrased: I can say what I like on here, I don't have to sugarcoat it like I do at the office). As you will note, you are expected to act like a civil servant online too - it's not just about data protection.

As it states at point number 5 of the participation online guide - you are an ambassador for your organisation.

    And the opening statement:
The Civil Service Code applies to your participation online as a civil servant or when discussing government business. You should participate in the same way as you would with other media or public forums such as speaking at conferences.

I also doubt your credibility. You have provided some glaringly incorrect advice, for example stating you know absolutely that an NRP on CSA1 or old rules will definitely get a 15% reduction to their net income for having a child, when that legislation only applies for CSA2 or new rules. Under old rules they will receive a child allowance and family premium in their exempt and protected income - the value of the allowance in exempt income dependent on their partner's income.

Also that you seem to think the 5% tolerance is discretionary, when it isn't, it is prescribed in law. Or that you think you can choose to include certain expenses as income on the basis that someone was sneaky with you, rather than deciding in accordance with Schedule 1 of the Child Support (Maintenance Calculation And Special Cases) Regulations 2001: http://www.dwp.gov.uk/docs/o-8701.pdf

You may be a decision maker (if you are in fact an employee of the CSA) but that doesn't mean you can decide as you please. You are still bound by the laws of this country, so any decision you make must fall within the prescriptions of legislation currently in place. Legislation made by our government incidentally, not by the CSA as you seemed to infer in one of your posts.

This will be my last response to you directly, as my personal opinion is that you are here to troll.
I often use a tablet to post, so sometimes my posts will have random letters inserted, or entirely the wrong word if autocorrect is trying to wind me up. Hopefully you'll still know what I mean.
  • Well, its been much livelier on here since CSAcaseworker joined (no posts in 'child support' section at all at beginning of the week !
It's given us an insight into things that do happen at the CSA (think it was prelude said there were some nuggets there) Its given me & several other nrpp's chance to talk about what is happening to us & undoubtedly a lot of other people across the country & given us some new ideas to try regarding our MP's etc Thank you !

I don't understand why everyone is getting their knickers in a twist.

Pretty much everything he/she has said isn't news really for anyone that has had long term dealings with the CSA. I think some people think their case is the only/most important case. Whilst OUR case is obviously mega important to us, to the workers at the CSA we are just another number. That's just how it is.

I have worked in similar high workload offices and agree with CSAworker...if you have 10 minutes left of your day you will work on the file where the person treats you with politeness rather than the one who shouts at you. That's human nature.

The CSA is a government machine. Does anyone know of any government machine that works efficiently ???
