Hints and tips from a caseworker at the CSA.

I for one, cannot decide wether to believe it is a member or staff or not, if it is, then it is not surprising that the attitude of CSA is what it is, if it is not, then it is really sick...!!!
My suggestion would be to go about as normal and trust the people that are known here and the ones who have, and work for the CSA DWP that are already known... They have earned the respect of the users with sensible and helpful answers...
In a way i kind of do hope he is CSA staff though... Gives a lot of ground for some appeals on many fronts from both PWC and NRP, and maybe could help kick the CSA into actually following the legislation instead of bending it so often...
Who does work for the CSA around here? Do they all have 'badges'?Grateful to finally be debt free!0 -
Very true, but easy for the CSA to find out if they wanted, IP's and registered email addresses are easily tracked for someone who has the means, so i would not be surprised if they did track who it is and if it is a member of staff if found out, and i am sure this would be frowned upon, there is common sense postings, and doing stuff for attention... I don't get the latter, but i guess people have there own warped reasoning...
I'm not going to post anymore on the subject unless he replies, i have already said what i think s/he should be doing if it is a member of staff, and jumping in without knowing histories of people or at least reading there posts, makes you look stupid and upsets people... You may think you are doing some good, but you just reinforce peoples attitude towards the CSA and how bad they "can" be....0 -
Certainly Prelude used to, still a DWP employee, and has some good solid advice, even though we don't always agree...
Kellogs used to deal with CSA1 claims at the CSA, and again, very good solid advice and can work out figures very accurately on CSA1 for anyone who needs help...
And i'm sure there are 1 or 2 others, but can't think of hand...
If you want some accurate advice from CSA staff, then i would ask either of these, they will be honest and not fill you full of crap, most of the others just advise from experience, myself included... And i know i can be argumentative at times, and sometimes get it wrong, but i have been through it all from CSA1 and CSA2 and had all the arguments and seen what can be achieved if you are strong willed... I have also seen what it does when people give up and lose everything... I try not to take sides, although i am sure i do on occasions, but you can be sure the one thing i will never waiver on, is that the NRP has a duty to pay...!!! But it upsets me when the CSA get it so wrong and hound them to death if you understand what i mean... I also get upset when PWC get no help, so i can be for and against both sides... I would just like to see some fairness and rules followed which is not always the case...0 -
Your all more than welcome to send my posts to your mp, Your wasteing the ink in your pens mind you, ive been careful not to breach data protection. People seem to think were under some form of gag order? Aslong as im not mentioning names/dobs/ninos and the like, i can pretty much say anything i please.
oh, and the fact i registerd under a fake email and called myself caseworkerx narrows down your seach by about 25,000 people. Still, if it makes you happy go for itanyways.
about the people asking about the 5%-9% re-assessments, Firstly, if your a pwc and you want a re-assessment, how are you going to prove he has had a payrise of 5%, has his lifestyle changed? Very doubtful unless he was wealthy and 5% equated to 1000's
if your an NRP, are you going to tell me your wages have incresed by 7%? no your not, be realistic.
the main re-assessments that are carried out are those where the income drops drastically, or increses dramatically, Mainly due to there never being claims for re-assessment for <10%, unless like i said, if your on a massive wage and 5% is the diffrence between 100's of pounds, then they will get re-aseesed, but for the local asda worker, he doesnt tell us, the pwc doesnt know, therefore it doesnt get re-assessed.0 -

hmmmm What's a fake email address?
an email i made in a fake name to register to this forum, infact you can have it if you like, its john11.smith111@hotmail.com, im not stupid enough to provide my real information.
As for getting verified, i was thinking about it, but considering this board generally hates the csa and there employees, my advice isnt listend to or understood anyways, so no real point in it.0 -

I wonder if that is grounds for banning, fake email addresses should be frowned upon...!!!
Oh and just so you know, email is not the only traceable method, if the CSA wanted to find out who you are, i am sure they could quite easily, unless you understand and use ip masking, secure connection vpn with encryption, then even if at work they could trace to the terminal itself, or if at home a physical address is easily found from IP info...
So not completely untraceable are you...
As for copying in MP's, this is exactly the kind of attitude that will make MP's irate, and force them to trace you to find out if you are an employee or not...0 -

Well, do you know what then, either prove you're a CSA employee to the 'powers that be' at MSE, or stop claiming to be. You can't have it both ways: telling everyone you work for the CSA and yet being untraceable.Grateful to finally be debt free!0 -
9.2.5 impersonate another person;
9.2.6 disguise the IP address of the connection used to post any message;
9.9.1 report offenders to their ISP;
9.9.2 charge offenders for the administrative costs of identifying and removing their posts at the rate of £40 per hour necessarily spent plus any external costs that we incur;
9.9.3 take legal action to recover these costs;
9.9.4 report offenders to the authorities if their actions appear to amount to a breach of the Computer Misuse Act 1990 or any other relevant criminal legislation.
Terms and conditions... That are probably relevant...
And as stated, uses a FAKE address, so should be banned...
Either way TROLL...!!!0
