  • Oh lordy lordy I can't handle this stress! Have managed to sell the ticket at face value (plus booking fee) through Scarlet Mist to someone local who came round within 10 minutes of advertising. Phew... :D

Also, the ex has been in touch and is picking the kids up after all (but not til 3pm so I'll prob miss the start as I anticipate the normally 30 min journey will take a couple of hours, but hey better late than never!). My stomach is settling down a bit. :o I've also managed to transfer the money from my lost card account into a different account online and... the sun is out - yeah! :j

So, things are looking up! :rotfl:

    Thanks for everyone's help - I hope you all have a fab time. :T :T :T

    Did you all enjoy it?

I woke up at 7am this morning to find son asleep in his bed. He left really early (2am) so he didn't get caught in traffic again. He said it was bad enough on the way down, he was in queues for 4 hours then and didn't want to do that on the way back.

I had most of the fields in my sink today, soaking off the bottom off his jeans!

He seems to have survived remarkably well and said it was 'brilliant'. He's buying next year's tix tomorrow.

Been watching the highlights but didn't see a giraffe, Emms. You still in one piece, One-non-blonde? :D

Oh nooooooo. That would not please him. :rotfl: Anyway, I ended up enjoying the peace and quiet without him.

Checked your page out, you look nice and so does your giraffe. :D (From what I could see of it, lol.

I got a phone call just before 9am saying 'Mum, quick-tickets on sale at 9am - help'.

He's at work stuck so I'm gonna wind him up a bit about not getting a ticket for him. (Even although I did ;) )

    I am. Just! :p

Had a great time, although I couldn't get there on Friday due to the traffic. Was a bit wierd being there by myself and being completely stone cold sober (one of the few) but meant I could just do what I liked and didn't need to frequent the loos too often (a good thing when I managed to get to the front of the Main Stage on Saturday afternoon and therefore couldn't move for 7 hours! :rotfl:

Not camping worked fine - Killers came off stage at 11:10 and by midnight I was tucked up in a warm bed. Can't say the same for Sunday though as it took 2 hours just to get out of the carpark - the traffic management seemed a bit shambolic.

My only regret is having to waste 90 minutes of my life enduring Air in order to keep my front row spot for Damien Rice... :D

Didn't know tickets went on sale today but have just miraculously managed to buy some after it told me it was sold out earlier. I flipping hate the way the Ticketmaster site chucks you out so quickly if you don't type fast enough - would it make that much of a difference to them to have 10 minutes to complete, rather than 2? I get all panicky and make mistakes (like not remembering my password or finding my credit card, eek!).

DS and I sat on the bus for 7hrs, travellin from Aberdeen, so I only got to see Artic Monkeys. Next year we're driving!

You should sign up an account with Ticketmaster, it stores your detail's so you don't have to input it all, that's why I got my tickets so fast.
I get most of my gig ticket's from them, another good thing they have is a ticket exchange so if anything was to happen that you couldnt go to a gig they will get rid of your ticket for you, you don't lose out then :)
