This reminds me of where I lived before I moved in with Mr LW - I used to have to go up and down the stairs on my bum! It was so fortunate that Mr LW already had a bungalow when we got together.:D Anyways, I'll shovel a load more healing vibes your way.;)
Julie (((HUGS))) A horrible dream followed by a less-than-pleasant visit to the GP surgery does not sound like the best start to the day - still, hopefully it can only get better.:o
I've washed three pairs of Mr LW's jeans (well, put them in the WM to be done early this morning);) and they're now on A-frames over the bath. The sky doesn't look very promising, and my shoulders are too stiff and painful to do the Washing Hokey Cokey today.
I need to wash my hair tonight, too - that'll require Mr LW's assistance; bless him, he says he doesn't mind, but I feel so ruddy helpless at times!:(
Second half of the quiche I made yesterday for tonight's dins, and HM cherry crumble for pud. No doubt Mr LW will want custard to go with the latter.:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
... My paid work is now horrendously busy and stressful and like everyone else is not secure - have had the threat of redundancy twice in the past 2 years and it will be on the cards again within the next 12 months. I've got to a point now where I'm fed up of worrying and making myself feel ill over it all - I'm just doing my job the best I can under the circumstances we're faced with and whatever happens is going to happen and we'll deal with whatever happens when it happens!...
I'm the same - 3 "At Risk" letters in just over 3 years, each arriving as we finish for Christmas. Am expecting the same again this year, and maybe worse the following year as there is no spare staffing that can be cut now.0 -
Hi all
DD's been over & dropped some milk in, flying visit as she had 5 kids with her, nice to see them but exhausting.

Hubby has got to buy a salad spinner, he could be gone all day, lol.

Afternoon all
Been mia in Cornwall since last Wednesday with DD and OH. We had a lovely time and had some sunshine and some showers.
Not read all the daily since then but virtual ((hugs)) to Lame Wolf and Hester. Kind words and hugs to all. Fudge and biscuits on the table and help yourselves to coffee.
Have a good rest of the day.
