i was in store the other day and a guy asked man behind counter when they were shutting and he replied the rumour going round staff is 24 july;)

and all jewellery is 30 percent off now all rings 50 per cent and mens is 50 per cent off too when i went in other day

Was in today and they had reduced the bionaire tower fan with and without the remote, i got the one with remote reduced down to £25 this one showing in amazon for £35, they also had the small desktop one for £13 ish.

i got the same on from amazon last year for £15. and their is a tower fan for £10 in lidl atm

i went in today because i needed some blank disks so decided to see how much they were b4 going computer shop. noticed it was 3 for two but thought at 40% off they had probably cancelled the offer. so decided to get 2 packs of mr data 100 cdrs for 11.99 each instead of 20 pound ech and cake of 25 mr dvd reduced from 17.99 to 11.99 and then got 11.99 knocked off for one of them as the three for two was still running.

even the woman behind the counter didnt know about it she told me (as she knows my face been in that many times lol)

i have heard that playstation have been reduced to 20 odd £ but they have none in our store does anyone know if this is true and if so if their store has any in stock. if its not too far it might be worth me travelling to get one

I thought they would have put heavier discounts on the bulkier stuff and left market forces do do some work for them.

The bulkier stuff is home delivery only - and will probably be in LX Direct and Littlewoods catalogues as well, so they wouldn't be selling any of that stuff off.

Nothing over 20kg in the Index shops in the high street.

Saying that, we got a computer desk with about 60% off last week.
