    If you have them or can get them in the morning we use those vacuum bags to pack duvets/sleeping bags etc. The ones you can roll the air out of. Or if you have an airbed pump you can use that to remove the air.

    I'm guessing you've gone, and I hope you had a lovely time!
    If you camp on anything like a regular basis, then try to afford sleeping bags which are a lot easier to manage than duvets (most kids get plenty of use when they go to stay over with friends, camp out etc)

    Towels are vital and I take spares (can wrap up a cold child if needed) but they don't have to be fluffy & beautiful. I have thin, old ones that are for camping.
