Due to issues developed with my Samsung GT-C3350 I have replaced it (because overall, I like it) and within days, callers have noticed an echo or slight delay when speaking to me, irrespective of who has called who.
I've returned the phone to the store and they have changed settings from automatic to manual connection but it made no difference. They are now going to source another. It seems this can be done within two weeks.
If for whatever reason the next one has something I'm not happy with, would I have the right to say something like", let's not bother with this model, I will select something else" ?.

This can occur when the earpiece volume is set to high, simply reduce the volume during a call .0 -

Update. despite lowering everything, it made no difference.
I removed the sim (the original ) from the new echo phone and returned it to the old phone, crystal clear then put it back in new phone which resulted in echo.
Returned to the store and explained further. As the phone was only 3/4 days old, I wondered if a refund was due, but seemingly if a phone shows to be faulty within 2 weeks, they are obliged to replace it which they are doing and it should be here within days, so will await. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Pleased they're going to replace the phone for you without any real hassle - but am always amused when retailers come out with this "within 14 days" bollox....They seem to love coming up with their own versions of UK law and consumer obligations.0

Interesting Tony. I sort of accepted the 14 day thing. They added that were it to prove faulty outside of the 14 day period, day 16 for example, it would need to go back to be repaired.
Coincidently this morning, they said " we don't do a change your mind refund" to which I said " it isn't a case of changing my mind, it isn't fit for purpose in that anyone on the other end, has a significant echo". I thought then they might add the T&C thing. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
