Blue Soleil bluetooth software not on their website?

I have a Blue Soleil bluetooth dongle which has never worked because I couldn't find the software on their site, despite them stating For getting the latest BlueSoleil version, please download BlueSoleil software directly from our website: https://www.bluesoleil.com. We do not provide any software disk in this package Can't find it despite clicking on the 'software' or 'support' tabs here. Can anyone help, please?

I found other sites like that which I didn't trust. How do you know that is a trustworthy site?

that where i got the software i use from, although when i got my Blue Soleil many years ago it came with a mini disc, but that was win 98 days, so wont run on win 8

I gave some advice to someone a while back regarding BlueSoleil. I think you may have to register on the site.

As you'd expect from a 3rd party site, plenty of bloatware was offered when trying to install. After declining this I was led to a Facebook sign-in page. I paid £4 for this at a computer fair about 5 years ago and it's never worked.

I've managed to download and install the 72MB file after registering. This wasn't available before, and I was trying to install a 1.1 MB file! I'm trying to pair the dongle with a solar PV inverter which it recognizes but wants the passkey for it. I don't know how to discover this key.

Just use 0000 or 1111

Thank you so much, that paired it instantly. However, I now find that while the dongle easily finds the inverter, the inverter can no longer discover the dongle (even though it is still generating). Nothing has changed in the physical setup and the dongle is flashing normally.

Is the dongle in discovery mode?

Perhaps go through pairing again.
