Blue Soleil bluetooth software not on their website?

I thought only devices could have their discoverability turned off. What would be the point of activating bluetooth if it wasn't discoverable? I can't answer your question because the Blue Soleil console has 17 greyed out icons and I don't know what any of them are because the description no longer pops up on mouseover or click. There's no option in Bluetooth Places either (I'm using XP). There's also no option to pair again (because they're already paired?)

If you can see the inverter showing as a paired device in the BlueSoleil console try deleting it (right click and delete perhaps) and then try re-pairing.

I have an old bluetooth dongle somewhere. If I can find it might be easier to offer help, although I have no experience of using with solar pv inverters.

Dongle and inverter (Sunny) now see each other, but still can't connect despite re-pairing. Only the middle possible cause is viable; is the 'Bluetooth Network' in Network Connections?

Could not find my Bluetooth dongle and not sure what to suggest.

However, others seem to have had similar problems (albeit a couple of years ago) and seem to have more luck by uninstalling the dongle drivers and letting Windows install it's own, see here

If still no luck I suggest posting on that forum or another specific to solar PV inverter etc.

Or just keep googling. The answers out there somewhere.
