BT Sport on Freesat

I wonder if BT could have a freesat app on freetime boxes and then use it to stream BT sports to the freetime boxes.
They would be able to detect if the box was connected to BT broadband and whose account it was, so there would be no need for any kind of decryption.
Otherwise how else are freesat viewers going to be able to watch BT sport via their TV even though they have BT broadband alresdy. Yes I know you can use HDML lesd from laptop to tv but really would like direct to tv.

In short - no.
Both BT and TalkTalk are investing hundreds of millions of pounds in providing a new Digital terrestrial TV hybrid service. ie DTT combined with SD/HD internet television services. So they won't invest further money into what is only a minority platform that only has 2.1m users. And not all those have broadband, either.0
