I see Kings gave you 3 pieces of FREE advice on the other thread!Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.0

As with all these types of threads, there's zero point speculating.
Whether anyone else has had an application appeal work isn't relevant and has no affect on whether yours has.0 -
ok Kingstreet instead of criticizing it would be nice if you actually give some advice.
sounds like alot of info that might get in the way of a successful outcome.0 -
Hi all. Thought I'd give you an update on my situation to anyone that is interested. After all that worry the offer FINALLY got re-issued on the original rate we agreed on the 13th August. So quite a while this took to sort out. Though meanwhile I still had my solicitors working on the case so they're now waiting for the mortgage offer to come through at their end for me to sign the mortgage deed. They said once this is done theyre in a position to exchange. I looked at mine and my partners credit score and they've still not run another check. My broker kept speaking to the BDM to get my issue resolved. The BDM told the underwriters that if they could not give a reasonable explanation as to why they withdrew the offer it would warrant an appeal. Anyway my broker assures me that the bank know about my partners 2k credit card which is now £1800 anyway but STILL isnt showing on his credit file. This is bad as I guess another credit check will be done before closing?!? We called up Barclay Card and they said they only update credit agencies every 3-6 months?!?! Surely this cant be right. In all fairness it hasnt updated since 30th June - Jokers!!0

It wasn't intended as criticsm, as you'd already done it. I was hoping other readers might see it and continue the same thread when it's on the same subject.
I'm a member of a motoring forum where the "one case, one thread" rule works really well as you can see the issue unfold and build on your previous knowledge.
New threads every day or two are like Groundhog Day. If you've seen the film it's like Cher and 6am.

Was the payment commitment for the new car stated in the credit commitments when the application was put in?0

Thanks people. Andy calm down lol. I am new to all of this remember and I do find it verryyy stressful but what will be will be. Well I presume our broker declared the 2k balance. When you say "Was the payment commitment for the new car stated in the credit commitment" I have no idea - I just presume he declared my partners 2k on the credit card?
I just hope no more problems arise now. Ive just had an email from solicitors and they now have submitted more inquiries and are awaiting answers for these - they said once they have satisfactory answers they will administer a completion statement and discuss a date for exchangeAnyone have any idea how long this will go on for!?!
