ETO I think saving whatever is left in your budget is a great idea - not really like spending at all :j
I'm hoping this week is going to be my last big spendy week for a while and I can get on the saving wagon too. Baby ETO won't ever know that £2 coins can be spent on shops - he'll think they all need to go straight into savings pots

Of the £9.85 left, £6.50 will go into baby ETO's money box. He saves £2 coins and 50ps.
£3 will go into my sealed pot and the shrapnel will go in my car parking money bowl.
so that's £20 spent really.
Hope everyone's had a good week.
I'm going to try and set up the next thread now but will abort if babba wakes up and i have my parents and sister round tonight so if it doesn't get done, will do in the morning.
So it's you with all the £2 coins!! There seems to be a severe shortage down here, I've not had one for months. Hehe
Calling £12.44 this week, as I drove to the house party and the host kept me in sloer for the evening for shepherding some of the other party goers home.0 -

I know what you mean about it not being spending but it does feel like there's nothing left of my budget and I need to take more money out of the bank all the time. But I am also quite excited about opening and banking babba's money for him.

I know a few people that collect £2. A couple in particular i know saved theirs for spending money for their recent Florida holiday.
I didn't used to get any, now I get loads. I'm trying not to spend too much but every time I break into a note I always get at least one which means it gets potted so almost feels like I am spending more than I actually am.
but I don't feel too bad as its for babba.

Spent £8.97 today on a few toiletries which takes me over budget by £4.17 :-( will therefore adjust next weeks budget to reflect this to keep in budget overall!Tink0
