No I completely understand 10days is a long time. I did state on there that it was due to working commitments. I used to work Mon-Fri 9-5 so kept all my listings to a 99p start price. When I say charged more I use the grey plastic bags to pack items and sometimes would double pack (I've had items in the past somehow turn up split!) also I have to pay for parking where our local post office is-and only do hour slots for £1.30. Which is 15 mins away from where I work and only get half an hour for lunch.
I made all of this clear in my listings so that a buyer was never under false pretences that the item would be there the next day. I also made sure my listings would end Wednesday so that there were 2 full days for payment to be made-just sometimes people paid on a Saturday afternoon so would mean that they could wait longer. I only put 10 days as a precautionary time.
Since I had the Agro with the first account I waited to sell from the other once I had changed my hours at work after having my daughter so I could post every Tuesday Thursday and Saturday and to be fair was easier having the extra days as I wasn't lugging loads at a time! Also I saw the difference in the amount I got for things and happy ebayers!
I'm just really frustrated that I've been selling for 2 years have had loads of positive feedback and despatch all items within 2 days but yet none of that has been taken into account.
I didn't realise the other one couldn't be cancelled otherwise I would have asked for help not just ignore the matter-but the fact is because i left it its been banned.
I could completely understand being limited to 10 however being restricted I feel is a bit harsh. I never sold items under false pretences I said it would be a longer despatch time and the reasoning behind this-if somebody wasn't happy with that then obviously they didn't have to bid.
Does anybody know where else I can sell the items and get a decent price for them rather than at a carboot.
Thanks :0)0 -
I think a lot of people sell on local Facebook selling pages, you can try the selling pages on mumsnet if you have baby bits, gumtree, NCT sales for baby stuff and of course car bootsales:heart2:Mummy to a beautiful little girl:heart2:
