I think maybe that should be Jack Wills.
My DGD1 has just left school and is about to start at 6th Form College. DD has just taken her out to buy the 'Jack Wills' uniform expected.;)
P.S. Never heard of Duffs either.
My advice would be to buy an absolute minimum of designer stuff for out of school wear as children keep growing. Ebay can be good too.

My kids get Primarni, Georgio at Asda, etc, if they wanted all make named clothes they'd have to use some of their own money!! I'm not having them dressed better than me!!0

I'm wearing an excellent pair of purple Duffs right now. £12 in TK Maxx :money:0

My brother went through a phase when he was about 14 of only wanting to wear certain brands, however he happily wore a pair of primark jeans not knowing they were primark, he soon grew out of the cool phase
He also used to walk around the house with his duvet wrapped around him.0 -
 That indeed sounds like an insane amount of money. At times I'm grateful my 13yo son's idea of being 'dressed' is to put something more on than wrapping the duvet round his boxer shorts!
My 11 year old puts his dressing gown on over his clothes and walks around like it - every day. Even in 30 degree heat.
Kind of the Noel Coward look."One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -
My son told me he would wear anything as long as it did NOT have a label, he did not want to be a sheep like all the rest of the kids at school, he is going to be 28 tomorrow and I don't think he has one designer item to his name, he always looks smart and it has probably saved us all a fortune over the years, as he says clothes are to be worn that are comfortable and serviceable, not so I look good to my mates lol
Been here for a long time and don't often post

I saw a teenage boy walking down the street in a onesie yesterday. I wish I'd taken a photo but I was driving at the time.
All I can think of was that he was on his way to the (nearby) GP's surgery and had just risen from his sick bed. Either that or his mum had just dragged him out of bed. Whatever next?0
